"Understanding not as concepts of Either/Or but as And/Also: Simultaneously existing, with many ways of viewing and understanding."

Duality presented the work developed by the seven artists in residence at the Textile Arts Center, from October 2016 to June 2017. During the 9 month residency, using fiber as a medium and/or starting point, the artists researched and explored the dichotomies presented in their work and within the group, addressing concepts of time, transformation, materiality, space, intimacy and potentiality.
